BE AT THE HEART OF IT ALL.
The Fire Hall Apartments at Knoxville High are the place where modern style meets historic character. Located on the north side of the iconic Knoxville High School building, these 12 elegant apartments offer instant access to downtown life — with all the comforts of home.
Living just a few blocks from the Old City, you’ll be within walking distance of many of Knoxville’s favorite haunts, both new and old.
ABOUT OUR HISTORIC BUILDING
The Fire Hall Apartments are located on the north corner of the celebrated Knoxville High campus (which is also home to another residence by Dover Signature Properties: Knoxville High Apartment Living, a retirement community for active seniors). Some of Knoxville’s most well-known residents attended school here, such as author James Agee and actress Patricia Neal.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been restored with a keen eye for preserving vintage details.
The apartments occupy the space that once housed Knoxville’s Fire Station No. 3. You’ll see hints of this history in the large windows on the front of the building, which mark the former bays for fire trucks, and the tall interior ceilings that give an unparalleled feeling of spaciousness.
